September 2023 will undoubtedly be etched in the records of Shér & Seo's history as a momentous month in our journey. As we reflect on this incredible journey, we can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the warmth and love we've received from people around the world since we embarked on this exciting venture.
Our journey officially began on September 8, and from that very moment, we felt the outpouring of support from our local community and beyond. We saw our very first sales in the vibrant cities of Melbourne and Sydney, which was a heartening experience in itself.
However, what truly took our breath away was when we received an order from our first international customer, all the way from the enchanting country of France. The excitement was so overwhelming that we couldn't resist dancing with joy, even if it was just in our heads. It happened during the serene hours of a Melbourne evening, making it all the more magical.
Speaking of magical moments, one of the highlights of our journey in September was when our very first bag was presented to none other than the renowned Gary Vee for his beautiful wife, Mona Vand. The visionary himself shared his pride in our endeavor and encouraged us to keep pushing forward. He even went as far as instructing his assistant to take extra special care of the bag, emphasizing its importance. This heartwarming gesture took place during an inspiring speech delivered by our founder at the Margaret Court Arena, where she stood before thousands of supporters.
But the month had more in store for us. Our founder, Donna Shér, successfully graduated from her Business Accelerator program at iGen, seizing every opportunity to absorb a wealth of business skills and knowledge that will undoubtedly shape her future endeavors.
Shér & Seo's global presence received a significant boost as we were honored with an invitation to the Global Entrepreneurs Congress, a historic event held for the first time in Oceania. This congress brought together Ministers, Government officials, investors, entrepreneurs, and delegates from a staggering 123 countries. It was an opportunity to connect with inspiring individuals from around the world, forming lasting partnerships and friendships.
The congress encouraged us to consider expanding into export markets when the time is right, a prospect that excites us, even though we know there's much preparation ahead.
In a delightful turn of events, we were officially invited by the Hong Kongese delegation for a memorable dinner, where we had the chance to make more friends and introduce Shér & Seo to our esteemed global partners.
As we bid adieu to September 2023, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation for the exciting journey that lies ahead for Shér & Seo.
